The Fagor Group

The Fagor Group is a member of the "Mondragon Corporación Cooperativa" (MCC), the world's largest cooperative.

Established in 1956, Mondragon Corporación Cooperativa is a Basque cooperative society that today represents 270 companies including the Fagor Electrodomésticos Group, which is the single largest firm. MCC is the world's largest cooperative society and the 7th largest Spanish industrial group.

MCC's has clear objectives: to be competitive and perform well on international markets while maintaining its cooperative spirit.

MCC is divided into three areas of activity: industry, distribution and banking. Today it employs approximately 95 000 people. Its 2007 turnover is estimated at around €15 billion.
